Nancy Elaine Patten

Nancy Patten passed away on September 4, 2018, in Hospice Care in Tucson. A native of Arizona, she was born in Douglas and raised in Morenci and San Manuel. After High School she went to nursing school in Los Angeles. After finishing there she returned to work in San Manuel with the mine as a nurse and then 16 years as a school nurse in Oracle Public Schools. She was dearly loved by all. With her husband she also ran cattle at the old Kannally Ranch.

She was an active member of the Oracle Union Church for 55 years. Her love for the church began the first day she attended as she felt “like she was home.” She served in virtually every capacity in the life of the congregation. She is sorely missed.
